Our President sat down with El Dorado County Assessor Karl Weiland to discuss the implications Proposition 19 has on your property taxes.

If you are in this situation, we recommend you seek tax advice. There are considerations other than property tax law in the transference of property. It’s a complex issue; having proper advice could save you and your family considerable heartache.

A Graduate of the US Naval Academy, Bob served as an Engineering Officer aboard USS Denver (LPD-9). After the Navy, Bob worked as a Nuclear Engineer for General Electric. He went on to work as a contractor for EPRI, Pacific Bell (now AT&T), before founding a web content management software company in 1994. Bob is currently a Computer Scientist with Adobe, Inc. Bob has one software patent and is a member of Mensa. Bob lives in South County with his wife, Mary Beth, a couple of cats, horses, donkeys, and 3 Saint Bernards.
