Four public hearings were not enough for the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors to determine district lines for the next decade.  An additional public hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 16th at 1:30pm.  The hearing will be at the Board of Supervisors Chambers (330 Fair Ln, Placerville) and also available via Zoom.

The additional hearing was scheduled to give map makers more time to address concerns from Supervisors and the community about the maps presented at the November 3rd meeting.  Specifically, Supervisors requested that the Bass Lake area be maintained in one district, Diamond Springs/El Dorado be kept together, neighborhoods in southern El Dorado Hills be in one district, and that the dividing line between districts 2 and 3 east of highway 49 be moved further north.

Four map alternatives will be presented at the November 16th hearing (linked below).  Supervisors will look to choose one map at the hearing, as they face a December 15th deadline for final adoption.  The public can provide feedback at the meeting, or by e-mail to edc.cob@edcgov.us.
