The Taxpayers Association of El Dorado County has released its ballot measure voter guide for the November 2022 election. The guide provides voters an unbiased look at the state and county ballot measures appearing on their ballot. The guide includes a summary of each measure, supporting and opposing arguments, and an explanation of any recommended position approved by the Taxpayers Association Board of Directors.
Below is a summary of the Association’s recommendations:
Proposition 1 (Reproductive Decisions): Neutral
Proposition 26 (Legalize Sports Betting at Tribal Casinos): Oppose
Proposition 27 (Legalize Online Sports Betting): Oppose
Proposition 28 (Arts and Music Education Funding): Oppose
Proposition 29 (Kidney Dialysis Regulation): Oppose
Proposition 30 (High Income Tax for Zero-Emission Vehicles): Oppose
Proposition 31 (Flavored Tobacco Ban): Oppose
El Dorado County Measure R (TOT Increase for Road Maintenance – West Slope): Support
El Dorado County Measure S (TOT Increase for Road Maintenance and Snow Removal – Tahoe): Neutral
