After the July 4th break, the Taxpayers Association of El Dorado County will reconvene on Monday, July 11. El Dorado County Department of Transportation Director Rafael Martinez will be the guest speaker. Director Martinez will discuss the county’s road maintenance funding situation, as well as two ballot measures that will be on the November ballot. The measures (one for the west slope of the County and one for the Tahoe basin) would raise Transient Occupancy Taxes to support road maintenance and snow removal activities (snow removal applies for the Tahoe basin measure only).
