After a break for Memorial Day and the June business meeting, the Taxpayers Association of El Dorado County will resume guest speaker meetings on Monday, June 13. On June 13, Snowline Hospice Philanthropy Development Director Laurie Heyman will give an update on the organization’s service to the community.
On June 20, the Association will hear from recently re-elected El Dorado County District Attorney Vern Pierson. He will provide information on public safety trends in the County and across the state.
The Association will conclude the month on June 27 with El Dorado County Treasurer-Tax Collector Karen Coleman (also re-elected in the June 7 election). She will provide an update on tax collections in the County as well as her office’s initiatives.
All meetings are held at 7:30 am at Denny’s in Placerville (99 Fair Ln). Additionally, guest speaker meetings are streamed live and available on-demand on the Association’s Facebook page (no Facebook account required).
